Accessories for Pets and People

Back in the old west, the cowboys often had to make and repair their own tack. They split hide into strings with an ordinary knife, and then braided them into reins, bridles, etc. The beauty of these pieces only improved with age. Today, although we have better tools, we use basically the same techniques to make 'tack' or accessories for people and pets.

This is where I collect pictures of my braided projects, some are for sale on my Etsy or Ebay site, others are already sold. Kangaroo leather is only the lastest of my obsessions. I'm one of those people with that "creative gene". Either blessed (or cursed) with the need to constantly have creative projects I'm working on. This curse, or blessing as it may be, doesn't make you wealthy; but it does give you a wealth of pleasure.
